Boo! Did we scare you? Odds are we didn't, but you should try these scarily good Halloween-themed cocktails—you'll be surprised how delicious they can be. Adapted from New York's Jekyll and Hyde Club's recipes on Delish, these specialty drinks are sure to get the party started (and keep it going all night long)!
Transformation Cocktail
Pour 2 ounces of light rum in a blender, along with 2 ounces of brandy and 2 ounces of strawberry puree with a cup of ice and blend until smooth. Pour into a large glass and serve immediately. Serves 1.
Bloody Black Currant Punch
Stir 1 and 1/4 cup of brandy with 1/4 cup of sugar in a bowl, stirring in 4 cups of black currant nectar. Refrigerate the mixture until it is chilled. When ready to serve, add in 1 and 1/2 cups of cold seltzer. Serves 6-8.
Vampire Kiss Martini
Layer a splash of raspberry liqueur with 1 part vodka and 1 part sparkling wine in a martini glass. Garnish with a piece of black licorice. Serves 1.
Mulled Red Wine
Put 2 teaspoons of black peppercorns, 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds, and 1 small cinnamon stick in a cheesecloth and add them to a saucepan with 2 bottles of rich red wine, 3 bay leaves, and zest of an orange. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, then remove the aromatics and stir in 1 and 1/2 cups of muscovado sugar. Serve warm.
